Ebay muffler

Just wondering if anybody has a pipe like this installed on their car. If you do let me know what it sounds like and if it is good quality. Let me know if this is going to be a fart can before I go through and buy it.

run 2.25 inch pipe from the cat back and it willbe very deep sounding

Thats a nice muffler but for under $30... is that for real? Stainless steel ain't cheap.

For the price I really wouldn't even care if it was stainless steel or not. I'm more concerned about the sound this things going to be throwing off. One more question before I buy this thing. I'm not getting a cat back but still want something that will put out alot of sound. Will this pipe do the trick?

if you dont get a 2.25 inch cat back, its gonna be very buzzy and high pitched... its useless not to get a cat back...

I wasn't going to go with a cat back caus I didn't think it would change the performance of a 4 banger that much. But if it will give it a better sound I might have to go for it.

A long time ago, I got one of those raptor turbo mufflers and mated with a borla big tip, somewelding, and some rust inhibitor and it sounded good. I doubt there was a power gain, but then sometimes I am humble. The muffler was $19 at pepboys in '96.

Yea that style will sound pretty good and those tips help a lot. If you want to eliminate the buzz sound it really helps to get 2.25 piping and you will feel a change in power. Also if you don't have emission get rid of that old cat or get a high flow cat. Happy modding!:)
