my car has a wobble which seems to be coming from the driver side front wheel, also my speedometer seems to be lying to me. saying im going faster than i am. any connection between the two and any way to fix this wobble or any idea what might be causing it? thanks.

It sounds like two differant problems.
The first is either a bent rim, bad ball joint, bad tie rod, or a bent suspension piece.

As for the speedo. Its either the speed sensor on the tranny, the cable from the tranny to the gauge, or its the gauge itself. Try replacing the cable first.

the first problem can be caused by worn out wheel bearing or bent rim. let some one look at your rim while you drive towards them.

second problem, yeah replace the cable. if that doesn't fix it is your gauge.

Could be a wheel bearing, really bad tie rod (mine were that bad when I replaced mine last week), or bad ball joints.

oh crap I forgot who posted this thread.
A suspension mount could be rusting out.

More likely is a lower balljoint, if it is not a bent rim. I have felt both a bad lower balljoint and a bent rim, and both feel about the same as far as wobble goes.

Yeah you could have a badly bubbled tire as well.
