replace the back engine mount.
so a few more question's b4 i start.
how long would this take?
what would be a more easier way to do this(with out using a lift)?
does it matter if engine hot or cold?
get back to me A.S.A.P.
thanks

well you stick a jack under the engine and raise it up... remove the dog bone mount... and possibly any cable or linkage from the trans that might keep the motor from raising enough to release it from the mount.
Do you have a car ramp? might be better to drive up one of those and then raise the engine. I always had a tuff time lifting the car high enough to install jack stands.

my dad have some ramp thing's but they look too rusty, so i'm gonna use jack stand's.

i check the back and it's fine and the one i got i stood on it and it kinda went down.
so around that rubber thingy i felt the inside of the front.
and it felt like some wild animal ate it all crazy.
so i guess i'll have to get the front instaed of the back.
how can ya tell if the side's is bad?

the front is out cuase the liquid is spilled out, and the mount is eaten up.
but the back the rubber feel's fine.
but the side mount, how can you tell if it's bad?

With the drivers side mount I guess if there is a lot of play in it or it looks like it falling apart.

the only thing i can think of that would restrict the motor is the axles. So try and prying ur axles out from the tranny. You might wanna drain your tranny before u do it. And then like mike said. put the parking brakes, stick the jack under it after u take the bolt off the mount and then raise the engine up, and then once its up, i think there are two 14 mm bolts like the front mount, on the rear and it should be fairly easy to take out after that.

i replaced the front my old one looked taller than the new one.
it was hard to get the old one out, but the new one sliped in there.
okay now i say 90-95% of vibe's is gone.
as for the back mount it shapped like a wide v.
i felt the back one and the gap is closed.
so the other one i stood on and it went down too.
is this normal? and would the dogbone cuase the vibration too???
