Pls help with brake light problem.

Hey Guys,

My brake lights dont work, all three. I want to check the fuse but i dont have an owners manual. The fuse box labels the fuses but there is no label for brake lights. Anyone know the fuse location for the brake lights or what other problems this may be.

fuse 4 under the hood is for the brake lights. The horn also works off the same fuse. If the fuse is good then it could be the brake switch under the dash

Yea I was thinking the brake switch on the pedel itself. The under hood fusebox is behind the battery, you just lift off the plastic cover.

Regardless of the problem, you should check every fuse from inside and outside. It is common for cars of this age and if there were previous owners, to wire things anywhere they see power. They would find some problem, and wire it to another source and call it a day.
