system hook up ?

I was wondering if anybody could help me on the best places to run power, rca, and remote wires for my amp. like were to run it through the fire wall and so on and so forth if you could help me out id appreciate it

well...there should be a hole behind the carb already, just punch out the rubber grommet, poke a screwdriver through there, and blamo, you got yourself a hole.

as far as the rca's and the remote, i would highly suggest running any power-carying wire seperate from your rca's. it has a tendency(sp?) to interfier with the sound quality.

Do you think 17 feet of power,remote, and rca will be enough after routing it through the carpet ect..... And that whole through the fire wall wear does it lead to on the inside of the car so i can tell wear to look on the inside? and thanks for welcoming me lol

i dunno man, 17 feet might be pushing it. once you put the screwdriver through the hole, just leave it in there, and look above your pedals in the cabin, or just stick some wire through. it should be right above the pedals.

How big is that whole in the fire wall because i have about another 3-5 feet of a thicker guage wire and the piece that converts it from the bigger guage to the smaller guage?

for the power wire on my amp I ran it from the battery and then over the fender, down the inside of the pass. side kick panel area and then under the carpet, you can kinda see what I mean here

I did that because I was a little short on running it through the firewall. The only place you can see it is when you open the door, there's about 4 inches that you can see on the inside of the fender. Doesn't bother me though. :)

alrighty then i think i can figure out the rest hopfully. lol im sure i will. i have another question though that you might be able to answer.... if ive understood right for us ppl with carb. accords we cant put a air intake on there.. but i thought i heard some ppl talk about taking the thing off of the old honda civics and it will sit right on my carb. and that makes a place to put the air intake... if so wear would the best place be to get one?

I've seen a few of those things at junkyards, almost picked one up once to sell on here but decided not to. I've seen them on carm cars before but mine is FI so I don't really know all the details about it. It's worth a shot though. :)
