well i got my new alternator in just fine (thanks to you guys) but now i seem to have a check engine light code 10. (i couldnt even find on the site or in any manuals the codes for some reason, i thought i had them somewhere...) well the voltage coming off of it is 14.35V when the car is running but when a load is applied to it it does seem to drop the idle speed of the car and it dosent raise again... hmm anyone had this issue or know what could be goin on?

well i also just replaced mine. but it was opp. the car would compensate for the low voltage with no load and rev to 3500 but as soon as i took off it would drop to 1500. i replaced my alt. and it hasn't done it since.

remanufactured should be like new, they're practicly rebuilt.. I bought my alternator from autozone, its lasted 30,000 miles so far...

yeah, well as long as the battery is charged your alternator wont stress and die :-) thats the typical cause of the death ofa new alternator.. some idiot forgetting to refill his empty battery with juice.
