L3gion im really glad to see you going through with such a big project. Its nice to see other members really commit to their cars and actually spend the time, money, and effort to do things the right way. Keep us updated on progress!

looks good man. Are you any good with legos? Im sure you numbered the srews or maked them or have one hell of a memory though. Anyways good luck and Im sure itll be awsome when your done. If I ever get my turbo project done Im going to have to drive over there to see what the other b20a projects look like when they are all done up and finally be able to put some personality to the people i envy (carot, rob)

Good god, that thing's gotta be SOOPER light. Shoulda kept the engine and whatnots in along with one seat and the wheel/gauges and drove it out once.

Prolly would have picked up some speed.

12-12-2003, 09:50 PM
Might as well convert that to fuel injection and 5 speed, when you put it back to together.

What an eye opener. Now I know what my hatch looks like underneath it all. Way to go!

Myaccord7:refresh, your internet connection seem to be slow.

BiteSize: 5 Speed convertion: YES. Fuel Injection Convertion, NEVER! I'm doing a dual weber setup on my b20a.

mykwikcoupe: Me and Carotman are working together on our b20a. We are working on almost the same setup except carburated for me.

88LXi68: Trust me, this is my baby! The day this car will be gone..... it's if someone steal it or if i crash it. I'LL NEVER SELL THIS CAR!

The thing i'm really surprized, is that old 86 don't have a bit of rust anywhere! that's just insane!

i wish i had the money and the time to do that to my car.
what kind of speakers do you have in the front doors?
i hope everything gose well A ;) how much monry are you going to spend on the paint?

L3G10N
12-13-2003, 11:51 AM
The Speakers are Legacy America Saphir Serie. They are ok when you don'T want to keep the same speaker more than a year :lol

About the money, it will cost me 4000$cdn to do EVERYTHING. body kit, paint, shaving, relocating the fuel trap and etc etc. It's a freind's father who do the job. That's why it's cheap like this

So how close to a show car is the beast going to be?

L3G10N
12-13-2003, 01:16 PM
hmmmm enough close for me but i'm sure it won't be enough for the people who want to see some rice and ridiculous cars. I won't change the interior except for my lude seats front and rear and automatic to manual. I love the 3geez style.

You should vinyl and paint the whole inside to match the exterior paint of your car.

I should, but i love too much my blue stock interior.

HEhehe now thats stripping baby. I can remember when my car was stripped after i got it from chris. It was on frame, no carpet, no steerin column nothing, all u saw was metal metal and metal. nothing on the engine bay, no cross member and nothing. everythign was spray painted with the weather sealer and a good coat of the rubberized body spray. If you see my website, you will know how it was done. Dirty ass job my friend. But im lucky i did it over the summer and not over the winter. You doing custom wiring for the mirrors??? i just swaped my old LX door to my new bought DX. hell it even has fold down seats baby.

L3G10N
12-21-2003, 08:59 AM
About the wiring, i'm waiting for Hostile java to send me what i need. Worst case, i'll go in a junk yard and get the original wire from an ex-i.

By the way, on your website, you wrote that carotman had an DX car. Wrong, it was an LX converted to LX-i. And now, his car looks more like an LX converted to an Se-i

shane_lxi
12-21-2003, 11:06 AM
The interior color depends on what color you are going to paint the outside. Black looks good with everything, btw. :)

His car was DX in the US. he had slider heater controls and no AC. but his stuff was off of a SEI so thats why its all dandy. Even my car was a DX when i got it off of chris. Then i took all my stuff from my LX and parts from the LXI to make the one i have right now.

L3G10N

you don'T have any LX in usa??

Here we have

12-22-2003, 11:50 AM
so the DX have 2 versions? dx hatch and dx sedan?

cause here, the LX is a sedan and the S is a hatch

SteveDX89
12-22-2003, 12:24 PM
These are US specs.

DX - hatch, coupe, sedan
LX - sedan
LX-i - hatch, coupe, sedan
SE-i - coupe, sedan

Sounds like Canada had more trim levels but they'll probably mostly the same as us. Also, I was wondering in your pics, how come your shift handle is on backwards. The button is on the passenger side.

L3G10N
12-22-2003, 01:16 PM
look at the first pics, the shifter is right sided. So, maybe my friend turned it wrong side for................. any reason that i don'T know.

right now, the guy had changed my front bumper for a 88-89coupe one. He's working on molding my front lip and the bumper in one piece. after, he will start shaving everything on the side, top and back. i'll get some pics after xmas

more like this, with another color, fuel trap relocated, removing all the plastic at the back of the car where we have our liscence plate and larger wing to receive my 18inch, an 88-89 sedan/coupe front bumper.

i won't have the same rear bumper et i won't have your rear wing too.... i'll try to get another wing for my car.

Hondaman87, you already know that you're my favorites one...... right after carotman. But YOU!, you have this soooooo much beautiful hatch :cool2:
