ok ive searched and either my comps gay or the boards messed up but i think its my comp. I have an 87 accord lx and ive read of the cai for it. Ive not found any like how to type things though. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Second the other day my dad was helping me work on it and he said this line connected to the bottom of the air channel on the way to the filter was a heater. Was that like the heater for the defrosters and stuff or heating the air? Im still new to carbs so im still learning any help you could give me I would be very thankful for. Thanks

first it is just a sensor and for an intake you need to get the Civic intake box. I can't remember the year but it is off the the Civic with dual port injection.

get an intake box from a civic no later than '91.

you can get civic air box and do a lot of moding to fit it. or you can get 86-87 Dodge lazer adapter and with less than 5 minutes of moding it will fit perfect, except one bolt, but it is easy to fix it.

Or you can buy a weber carb and do an intake like I have.
