oh that corner lamp isnt on the car, its sitting on the bumper!

the only real problems i see is...

1) it seems to be a tad too wide at the fenders

2) how to mount this thing!

I like it. It doesn't look obnoxiously huge, and it's fairly angular so it flows pretty well with the body style of the 3G.

Talk to kicker_solo for what else you should do. He's got that same front end that he's been trying to get to fit perfectly, and by the looks of things he's just about got it perfect.

Props to another member for going out on a limb and trying out some custom modding. I tip my hat to you my friend.

one more with the lights down! all you have to do is modify the headlight cover some! dont cut up the bumper any more than needed!

help kicker! lol, I like the kit, you have good taste :D
What I did with mine was center it in the middle, mine was only off by about 1/4" on each side, I just sucked it in and zip tied it in the fenderwells, didn't look like I sucked it in either. Looks hot, especially after you primed it.

you could reomve some material form the middle to help suck in the side and then do some custom work to tie the middle back together. I know someone did the same on his 4G accord body kit. Ha found it, ICEMAN707 is the one who did it.

I think if you molded my ass to the front of that car, it'd look better. HA!! :flipa:

J/K.

It looks pretty good. I'm still torn on how the corners tuck underneath the marker lights. I think I'd have to see it in person to really pass judgement. Good work on it. It's a good looking bumper.

I think it looks good. Better than a 4g accord bumper on a 3g. I can't wait to see it finished.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Looks really good, but I hate when they tuck under the corner lights like that. It kinda looks out of place IMO. But overall it looks awesome.

thanks for your positive comment justin. i really didn't cut the bumper vertically down the middle. i took off the middle part that sticks up on the middle of 90-93 teg bumpers and shaved it flat.

as for the corners, yeah it does tuck in and the headlights can't open and close due to the kit curving in under the corner lights. so what i did was traced the lines of the upper part of the stock bumper with some marker onto the upper part of the kit and cut the kit along those lines. then i made a fiberglass copy of the stock bumpers corners using the stock bumper as a mold and cut the bodykit's corners off. i placed the new fiberglass corner copies on the bodykit and refiberglassed and molded it on and bondo'ed it for a flawless look. that's why my bodykit bumper looks like it's made for the car now. capice??

Wow, tha looks nice iceman. Is it easy to work with fiberglass like that? I have never done it, but if the results look like that, I will have to give it a chance.

i would say fairly easy to me, i dunno about you. everyone has different abilities. give it a try. you never know unless you try. it's well worth it than having a kit that looks like crap.
