Clear front linses...

As some of us know, porcarparts.com now offers clear front turn signal lenses for 88-89 Accords. I ordered a set and put them on last night, they are perfect. They install just like the stock lights and are a great quality and finish. The bulb sockets fit perfectly and the lenses do include amber bulbs.

With shipping they were a little over $40.00.

They look great so if you were thinkin of getting some go for it, you won't be disappointed...

Are you talking about the same ones we can take apart and pop the reflector out of for free? The ones in the lower part of the bumber?

Well new housings with the lens look a lot better than a 15 year old lense, regardless.

They do look way better. I had the homemade version and these are way better, there's no comparison...

Yeah I got them a while ago. They are very good. I think a stone hit one of mine and its cracked but it could have just been my imagination. If it did get cracked im gonna be pissed.

are these the side markers on the corner lenses, or the front ones in the bumper? Because the ones in the bumper have been around for like 7 years!

As a broke-a$$ college kid, would you find the $40 to get the new ones or just pop out the orange crap from the old ones?
I guess what I'm really asking is there a noticible difference? Even if you were to clean the old ones?

I checked my lenses when I got home from work and to my surprise they werent cracked. w00t!! I figured i would share the good news. :)

Well I cleaned the original one with a strong cleaner, then used plastic polish. It cleaned it up considerably, but compared to the new one on the other side, you could still tell it was old. However, it works good-- and if I had no money, that's what I would do.

As for the clear bumper lenses, they have not been around for 7 years!

I just gone done tinting all of my front lights with VHT nightshades.....I highly reccomend it!!!!!

Actually they've been around for less then 6 months as far as I know and they do look 10x better then the stock cleared out ones. When Mike and I put our cars next to each other the difference is noticeable.

They have been around ALOT longer then 6 months there hostile. My cousin got them on his 88 like 2 years ago, and he didn't make htem, he bought them from some honda dealership in town. They do look a lot better when you buy them premade, just because of the fresh lenses I htink, but there is a definate difference :).

PS: I don't know why I am bringing this up, but your SEi Coupe is kickin'! I would love to rape it's tail pipe! :) Just wanted to say it... :P
