Not too bad, they look much better then mine. Mine didn't fit perfectely so there is wrinkles in the paper, I need to get some photo paper. I really like the WARNING pic.

You used your printer to make those? Are thye fully functional? I think it would look nicer, and be more worth it to just but the factory made reverse gauges for 35 bucks. Looks good though as far as gauge layout, but it could do without the avtars of 3g members though... :P

nice idea, but a little too cluttered IMO. But if you like 'em then by all means sport 'em with pride. I do like the fact that you decided to do some custom work. Props on that. Did I see blue painted needles? How do you have that all illuminated so you can see at night?

Not to break your balls, but if your a guy its just not cool to have fairys on your speedo. Besides, its just not a clean look. Its a good job to chage the look of your speedo, but IMO, its just a lil too far.

But i like the way you used your imagination. Usually people end up breaking the needles when they try to take em out, but seems like you got it intact. Nice job :cool2:

The needles look like he used some kind of spray tint, or tail light paint on them. But seriously, is that like realy thin printer paper, so the light can get through?

How did you paint the needles cause I tried that once but the weight of the paint was too much the they wouldn't move.

not bad, not bad. But does the light go through the paper? I don't have a problem w/ custom dash's, but when they aren't functional anymore then its pointless. Not that urs isn't functional, but i know that not having a backlight would really piss me off.

This reminds me of something from back in the day. Did anyone ever watch the show "Family Matters," the show w/ Urkel? Anyways, on one episode he has this really small, sh!tty car that has one door, which is on the front of the car. He was showing Carl(he was the dad on the show) his car one day. They both squezzed in and then Urkel was showing Carl the dash. Instead of a speedo, he had a small chalk board where u wrote how fast u 'think' you're going. For some reason, when i hear of people making custom guages, this always pops into my mind. It'd be hilarious if someone actually made some custom guages that had a small chalkboard on it where u wrote how fast u think you're going. No one probably remembers, oh well.

So, they don't glow from the back. Seems like it would be more worth it to just go and buy the premade set from procarparts. It would be a lot easier, and look A LOT better then pasting paper to the existing ones, and illuminating it with a black light... but taht's just me. You could buy the procarparts one, and paster the stickers to that, and it would have the same effect, except that you wouldn't have the custom numbering... if you like it, I guess...

I'll have to try this paint to see if it works good, hopefuly the needles will still react quick.

I think you need to stick to all caps or lowercase and resize things abit. But it's a very good first attempt.
