eather one would work just fine.
connect 2 subs in to 2ohms and you should be ready to go.

ok i think i might go with the kenwoods their cheaper the amp says its 1200 watts and the speakers handle up to 700 watts but the rms is really low on the amp is that ok the rms is like 400 @ 4 ohms x1. How should i 2 ohm it?

sorry man, but the manual for this amps says that it not recomended to hook up 2ohm bridged. so you are stuck with 400watt @4ohms x1

your gonna need some dual voice coil subs... then you can wire them to 4 ohms... or go single 15" sub... almost the same sq inches as 2 12's... anyway, heres my picks

great price, great subs, but maybe out of your price range?

if you can afford these and want LOUD and DEEP bass, pick up 2 of the AW1200X's
http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/audiobahn_subwoofers.html

these are mid to high end subs, very nice... fairly expensive
buy here> http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/cdt_audio_subs.html
info here (2nd subs down)> http://www.cdtaudio.com/longexcursionsubs.htm

if you have any more questions on what to buy, or how to hook them up, PM me

he doesn't need DVC (dual voice coils). single voice coil subs will do just fine.
kenwood is a good starting point.

once again, bad moderator skills.. they only way to get MAX power out of this amp is to run DVC subs... he wants BASS and lots of it, so he needs all the power available...

another very good loud sub would be this

thats a single 4 ohm sub

he can't run more than 4ohm on that sub in bridged mode.
so what is the point of 2 DVC subs?

get 2 DVC subs, run them at 8 ohm each, then bridge them to 4 ohms... or... run them off both channels at 2 ohms... so then he get s the same power output... the best would be a single 12 with all the power going to it... then you would like a single 4 ohm, or a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub...

i never thot i would have to teach a MOD ;)

DXhatchback, your theory sucks. you can't teach me. i know enought about the stereos.

lol... its not theory man.. thats the only way to do it... with 2 single voice coil 4 ohm subs, you can only run at 8 ohm bridged or 2 ohm bridged or 4 ohm stereo... OR- you can get two 2 ohm subs, or two 8 ohm subs (which are rare)
with a pair of 4 ohm DVC subs, you can wire them in all sorts of configurations... and two of them are PERFECT for what he wants...

so show me how he doesnt need DVC subs to extract MAX power from this amp :321:

Thanks for all your help,we are going to make our own box like are last one before it was stolen. We have to bolt it down to the body of the car so if they try to steal my stuff again they wont be able to get it out. We will probally get the subs and i hope they have the manufactuars specs for the perfect box, then we will build it to that.
