Dunno how you did that, but nice work :) Ya might wanna either buy or find someone that has a printer capable of printing on CDs and make an adapter that will let you print directly on the gauges... pertaining the ink will hold to it.

Did you use paint thinner to take the paint off the plastic?

Those are sweet! Damn I might have to take out my procarparts gauges and make a set of those other gauges. I'm sure all you have to do is make the gauge clear and get like candy apple red transparent paint and there you go. But it would be a pain to make each mph line in the right spot.

Well, they seem very open to new design for cars so maybe if someone were to send in a cluster than they might add us to their production list..... :flash:

Hey if you want to find that out for me and get an email telling us to send in a set of gauges I will goto the junk yard and get a spare set. B/c those were fricken tight!

joker2

OK, I'll send in a email to them and see what they think about the idea....

OK, this was quicker than I expected!!! I just got off the phone with one of their R&D people (Matt) and he said that they will be accepting new clusters for development after the 2nd.... So he told me to give him a call because it's first come first serve and once they get it, it should take like 2 weeks to get a full product line.... :flash:

OMG that rocks dude! Does someone want to get a AT cluster and I will get the MT one? Do they want the whole cluster or just the gauges?

Dibbs

I would imagine you would have to change the leds in the cluster to go with the color of the gauge faces, especially for the AT. Not terribly hard though, I'd be up for it.

Thats pretty cool, what are the guages suppose to look like? :ugh:

Well, he said to just send in the entire cluster and to make sure you get it from a junkyard or something because you won't be getting it back.... Basically what they are going to do is take that cluster to make templates for our cars, just like they did for all the other cars they make gauges for.... Once the temp is made then they should be able to make designs you want from their site or anything you want custom.... Now keep in mind that he also told me that some Hondas are harder to make gauges for so that's why they don't have a lot of Hondas listed on their product list.... He didn't mention prices but I'm assuming, by looking at their present prices, that they won't be far off from what they have now......

Well send in a cluster from an 86 87; these peopel are left in the dark for all the guages, and it isn't fair.

Well I'm gonna do a 88-89 MT if I can find one b/c that's what my car is. I suggest for you guys that have other cars do the same as I am. You should ask them if we will get a discount for sending in gauge clusters? B/c when we do that they will make more money and its only fair that we get some type of discount for helping them help us.

Well most the people that buy them will be members of the board, so they would get pissed if they gave discounts to half the people they sell them to. lol. I think this is good for people with different colored vinyl in their car. But for my white and black ride, I am just going to put in the white reverse glow gauges. :). This is pretty cool though, I am intrigued...

No I meant for them to give a discount to the people that send in the different gauge clusters. B/c we'd spend our own money so that they can make money. That's what I meant.
