You'll need to use a 1" tall filter instead of the 2" filter to get the hood to close.

sweeeet... my dad and I dropped a 5.8 liter into our full-size van, then slapped a Holley 4 barrell on there, upgraded the exhaust and intake, and DAMN can that thing go! it pulls the boat like it wasnt there... mmmm, torque

Here is my mini muffler I stuck on backwards...
I sound like a truck and it makes the loudest backfires when I downshift to slow down.

You are selling? I need a weber carb for my 86 accord... so how do I go about working out the deal with you?

Are you Automatic or Manual Trans?

Other then that I can sell the carb as is but you might want to read up on it.

- Adapter Plate has a 1" spacer added for better fuel flow
- Intake Manifold has a ported plenum for increased manifold volume
- Carb jets are rich at idle and 2 of the jets are not the correct size, however for about 5.00 each you can buy the jets you need yourself
- The Air Filter is too tall to be used with the stock hood on, however you can buy the 1-5/8" tall filter and it should let the hood close properly.
- Throttle Linkage only has one slot for the throttle cable which should work fine with the stock throttle cable
- Automatic cars will need to make sure they have the TV / Kickdown cable hooked up properly for their trans to shift properly
- Is ment to run without intake manifold heater, you will need to bypass the coolant ports on the manifold or plug a port on the intake manifold as described in the weber install how-to on this site
- As is this isn't ment to be used on emission regulated cars... so check your state laws

Well I decided to buy a brand new Weber 32/36 kit, heated base, progressive, electric choke :-) I just cant wait to install it, will be a fun project, + if I'm getting the chome airbox, might as well pain my valve head and get colored spark plugs etc.

The new weber 86 Honda kit, is $379. :-O Hope its worth it.

Well turns out, I found a place selling the 86 weber conersion kit for only 359.. but I went back to the other place and they cut it down from 379 to 357 :-)... not a bad way to safe 2 bucks, point being I got them down 20 bucks. (Not to mention, shipping is included :-) sweet. Now to find a good deal on exhaust.

We have inspection.. but its not for emission, its for your basic windsheidl, taillights, headlights, horn, and turn signals :-) thats the only inspection we have.

I still haven't gone to the tracks to test my header... but I expect to get a good ET and 0-60 or 60' or whatever after I change the fuel pump... I've been putting it off cause I'm still not sure how long I will be keeping the car. I may be forced to get rid of it... which I hope never happens. I want to double check on the clearance issues with the 1" space before I sell the carb. Or you could always install a hood scoop. :D
