View Full Version : Why Style Corners?

ok, tomorrow im going to go pick up my plexiglass stuff tomorrow, or actually today. anyway, there are a few styles to go with. one is just all clear, which i will probley put a strip of orange reflector in to make legal. the inside of that type would be chrome reflector. another type is all black inside, i guess like JDM style. that would look pretty cool, and i could get the headlight eye brow to match easily. with the JDM style in mind, i would want to think of how to put a reflector thing in there for the foward facing bulb. i could used a small flash light reflector for that. any other suggestions for my custom corners? i need some help deciding guys.

I going to get the JDM ones and see how they look when i have the car painted white. Im not sure if i will like that better or some with the orange part cleared out.

they didnt make JDM black ones for our car. they did make those semi-clear, or smoked ones you see on the aerodeck.

smoke em or paint em... leave a small circle in the orange part and take the bulb out of the front

i think i may try and do something with the black inside look going on. dont know what i'll do about the head light eye brows. im wanting to get new ones anyway because the driverside one is cracked a bit. i may experiment with it. maybe sand the back ground color off and paint black. i'll see how that would work. dont totally have my choice yet. its not easy to make a decision because both will look bad ass!

::cough:cough::

IMO, clears look great on lighter colored cars (ie. white, silver, champaigne, etc., and also on any monochrome cars (ie. white, charcoal, black), but not the best on a colored car.

Either way no matter what the color, they'll look good, that's just my opinion.

Jim, thanks for the backup there.

ginger --> Not the best idea to not only bad mouth a member (in this case a mod.), but also not even add anything to your post that has at least a little relevance to this thread. I'll chalk this one up as you're having a bad day, b/c it seems like you like this board, and you have something to offer the board. Please though, for the future, know that this is not something that you should be posting.
