now how would sway bars make my car preform in the winter? Would it actully help or cause me to slide out more?

well that is a pretty good question and I really don't know but I have seen anything about people taking there bars off during the winter so I belive it will be ok.

It might help a bit. Basically the car will stay more flat on turns. I don't see how winter driving will be affected much. You still have to fight against the loss of traction.

i found out the hard way with my fiesta that the stiffer the suspension, the easier it is to slide. My fiesta was stiff as hell and i had a hard time keeping straight on gravel roads. I'd KILL on pavement though. If you look at rally cars, their suspension is SUPER soft. I dont think they even run strut bars. So i bet it would change your handling a bit, but i dont know if it'll affect it THAT much on a basically stock car with minor suspension upgrades.

No strut bars are needed in a rally car. The chole chassis is reinforced.

so I wouldn't worry about it and it isn't a pain to remove them.

Sway bars keep the car from leaning in... Strut bars just reinforce the towers

True dat, Strut bars keep the chassis from flezing under the stress of turns.
