it says i have to connect the ground to the sensor ground, and no where else or i will damage the unit. so which one is the MAP sensor ground?

how did u find if your MAP sensor has three wires? From Paul's shop manual (Pg 12-35) all i can see is the C11 being positive and the C14 being negative.

C11 >> Look at he pins facing you, its the top row, 3rd from the right

C14 >> Look at the pins facing you, its the bottom row, 2nd from the right

ANd the pins are the ECU harness if im not mistaken. Its the 3 sets of clips, and the one im talking about is the right most clip.

i have honda manual, just like paul's but it is for 87 US model. i have 86 model, it is about the same.
in my book it says C11, C14, and C15
C11 is positive
C14 is negative
C15 is positive.

open paul's manual page 12-7. find number 3, it is MAP sensor. and you will see the 3 wires.
unfoltunatly paul never made pictures of the wirring part, it is all the way on the back of the book.
Plus i can tell his book is diff from my book.

so the question is which wire positive wire i should connect to C11 or C15. in my book C11 wire sends the signal to the ECU and C15 wire sends the signal to the MAP sensor. so i think i will have use C11 because it looks like input signal.

thanks for pointing that out for me.

i would think that the C14 would be the ground you are looking for But what does the C15 do? I looked at the ECU after i opened it apart and seems like the numbers are wackyinside of it than the connectors so i was like fuck it. This really baffles me more than anything. Sorry Alex i wish i knew more :(

C15 looks like a power wire to the sensor.

Use a voltmeter and test for power sources from the wires,,,,,duh.
