i'd say if you want brighter ones, get some halogen replacement ones! they are a bit expensive, but the brightness is very noticeable. you can get them on JCWhitney.com........i cant find them too often anywhere. they used to have them at Pepboy's, but they dont have any when i go to look. the back up lights i have are Eurolite xenon, they suck ass! so dont get those.

there are 2 screws holding the black case thing on. just take that off, its inside the trunk behind the light.

The Halogen? Do you have or remember the part and price? Is there a big difference in brightness?

Well, I don't recall the exact price, but I think it was about $8 each. The brightness is not that noticeable, but part of that could be my tinted rear window. The other part of that is the backup light lens is sort of opaque, not clear, and the inside reflector is plain steel, not polished or plated.

After putting them in my advice is not to waste your money.

Just my opinion, though, and you know what they say about opinions.
