Well here is the thing. My dad put a glasspack with a 5 inch tip on my car and i can't stand it. I mean it sounds alright but it just looks like crap. I want to by a new muffler and i dunno what kind i should get. I don't want anything loud to where you can't stand it but i do want something that has sound to it. I was wondering you can post some pics of your mufflers. Thanx.

3a racing muffler, i took it off my eclipse when i wrecked it, it has sounded good and isnt loud or "poppy" sounding, nice, deep, and mellow

i can't find any pics of mine, but i got a magnaflow dual exhaust 2.25 in tips. gives the 3gee a nice growl. it is not loud only at around 4000 rpm's.

I have the same thing Justin86 but my glasspack is right behind the tip.

yea I need to put some new hangers on it cause my exhaust form the header back was ripped off form all the snow and I lost two ruber hangers, so there is a little more welding to be done and I would like to get aluminum pipe and put a muffler on it. The glass pack just helps to make it close to the legal limit. :wave:

Scrapin the steep hills yet? How the hell do u pass emissions with your exhaust Grant? Shit they wont even do my inspection cause i did not have a tip that stuck outta the bumper. I am gonna get my exhaust pics pretty soon. HOpe u guys like it :D. Its Dynomax baby. ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and 2.25" pipe. man....... this puppy growls in low rpms and screams its way up to 6000 rpm :D

your muffler doesn't have anything to do with emissions. and the front of my car scrapes before the muffler. i kind of wish mine would just fall off or something so i can just have stock exhaust again. i liked it being loud at first, but i've outgrown it. i probably wouldn't mind it so much if i actually had a fast car.

if ur exhaust does not stick out of the rear bumper, they wont do the emission test for so called "Safety reasons" so automatically u fail for safety and u fail for Short Exhaust. Trust me, i failed for it before i got my cat back done. Those SBruns fags. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :o :pissed:

hahaha reminds me of my Dynomax when i had it there without the tip. Gosh looked like real ghetto set up. Is your muffler exit on the bumper cut kinda crooked??? man.... it looks funny. Anyway im sitll working on my pics :D cant wait to post my pics and stop talking.
