Hey guys! Does anyone have any links or pics and specs of this 80's turbo Legend? I friend of mine was telling me Honda made a factory turbo WAY BACK in the day. Sure enough I found out they did. I've been told it has a C-series engine. I find this to be quite interesting, and if anyone has any info or links so I can read up on it!

I found THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2452560512&category=33615) on eBay. Is that the engine?

Thanx in advance! :)

Go to www.acura-legend.com and do a search on GA20. There is a thread that gives pretty good summary.

It's definitely an interesting motor, but it's only 2.0l and 188hp and only came in automatic. :(

the legend was a test car for honda, if you can see, it was the first time (i beleave correct me if im wrong) that they made a large v6. (2.7-3.2) and the first time they tryed a turbo, and in 93 they made the gs (94-95) and some ls versions with a standerd 6 speed tranny, *VERY RARE* an automatice 93-94 legend :cool2: goes for about 4-8k and a 6 speed can go for still to this day 15-18k, and its all for the tranny!

wait... isn't the legend pretty closely related to the 3gee? i woner if that thing can be easily made to fit in our cars... damn that would be sexy, just because it's rare... sexy like stefi-blue ;)

That's a badass site Alex! I didn't know they made an SOHC version of the F20B.

thats very very rare, but to this day, it is still the most powerfull engine honda ever made

The NSX engine is probably what you are thinking. It's basically the same as the Legend engine, but has DOHC instead of SOHC.

hmmmmmmm.. cuz i know in japan, they made one.. but only very few of them..
and it was a twin turbo and had something like 277hp stock..
which is still more then an NSX or s2000..

They talk about this some on www.acura-legend.com and so far, nobody has been able to find any proof of their existance and it looks like some folks have tried pretty hard!

Hehe, why not just call Honda and ask.
