This is for everyone that complains that their coilovers are too stiff and they wish there was something better. Well here you go, Eibach makes tons for different springs and sizes. I'm still collecting info but the link I gave is for 2.25" springs and we only use 2.5". So I belive we can use the 2.25" but I'm not a 100% sure yet.

If you use a 2.25 spring, It will bind alittle. It happened to me when i got a pair of 500lb springs for the front of the accord. I ultimately returned them. they also gave me a 8inch spring when i needed a 7 inch for the drop I wanted.

my whole shock body is threaded... i think i should get a set of the longest and softest springs they have... that would be soooo nice

Whats up with the speedcamp logos?

Anyways there is a 6" under the race spring section.

Yea you can get them in a lot of different sizes. I need to get rid of these DZ's and get something much better. I need to call on prices.

The prices are 115 per pair unless they changed prices from 1 1/2 years ago.

But I still have to call to order.
I wish the 2.5" came in a better selection cause I want taller springs in the rear and I would have to run 2.25" springs to do so. 7" up front and 8" or 9" in the rear.

Is this for a coilover setup or springs alone?

coilover only. If you used the 9" 2.25 as just springs you might get away with it but the rear might be lower so you would need 8" in the front and it would be a big drop like a 3" drop or maybe more?

that is helpful, stupid dropzone coilover, i have like NO suspension.

coilovers suck hairy donkey balls unless you have fully adjustable shocks to go with them. If you're looking for a nice drop with a good ride, sprints are the ONLY way to go IMO.

It love to see someone do that. But their remains the giant fitment question. Info so far say's they won't fit, but their's a tiny bit that says, maybe shortend bodies will work, still it's a big maybe at best. Looking at the spring rate specs, Tein's R&D wisdom, leaves a lot to be desired. But their's a way around it. Take for example 90-92 teg Basic coilovers (would fit into 88-91 civic-crx of course, same chassis) 504lbs front and 280lbs rear. Way way to much spring rate up front, great way to get MORE understeer you don't need. The entire Basic line has the ability were you can purchase different springs to change the rates +or- 56lbs. So take advantage of this and run 448lbs front and 336lbs rear. It's still not right, but a lot better. If you go to the SS line, the springs can be adjusted +or- 112lbs.

Just noticed the 01 civic rates, must be a totally different R&D staff :D

Oem 3g accord springs are 2.5 OD front and 3" OD rear.

yea it might be worth while to get some cheap Civic struts and get them shortened to see if it is possible, then go to Tein or another company and get a good set up with the right spring and adjustable strut.
