What kind of EQ is this? could have been some sort of short in the wiring which caused the fire.

i just found the problem. i opened the eq, and i found out that it is some chip on a heat sink. the bran is a Lanzar vibe E750s. it is not my ground or positive wire that cause the problem; if it was, then the fuse would have broken. the chip just burned up. i opened it and tested it, the chip was up in smokes.

I had that happen to an mtx crossover, some loose rca's connected to it came into contact with something in the trunk it shouldn't and it started smoking internally
