got my dynomax super turbo and a tip i had welded on today for $10. the guy is also gonna make me custom 2.25 catback piping for $52! i was amazed after hearing what others had paid, probably gonna get it done next week. anyway back to the muffler.... it sounds great at idle, nice low tone. but i can barely hear it when i accelerate over the enormous engine noise (yes even when i'm outside the car). it doesn't sound any different that stock really, and it sputters some, hopefully the catback will improve this alot. i have gained a very noticeable power gain, and the muffler looks awesome on the car. overall im very pleased for under $45.

Stop whatever you doing, turn off the computer and go find a tunnel of some sort and drive through it with the windows down and accelerate to 6000RPM's. You'll get to hear how it sounds to everyone else. Trust me it sounds so nice!, and you won't think twice about what you just installed.

When I drive through a tunnel it vibrates my ass lol, I love my magnaflow
How good are these Dynomax super turbo mufflers on cars that actually have a turbo? I'm going to be turbocharging my CRX and I want a good muffler that will keep my car a sleeper.

well if you turbo it I would go with 3" piping, that kinda limits your options for mufflers. Just make sure the inside of the muffler is not restrictive.

With my intake, muffler, and stereo blasting trance loud enough to wake the dead, I set car alarms off in the parking deck at work almost every day. I always enjoy the sneers I get from the rich-ass doctors with their Infinitis and Mercs.

also why it may not sound as good, is becasue the resonator is still in. so when i get the catback, that should help alot, and i dont think it will be annoyingly loud with the dynomax.
and im noticing the muffler is getting scorch marks, look where the tip hangs off some. gonna have to get it clamped and welded tighter, when i go back in, its messing up the nice chrome look.
I love the tunnel test! LOL

Hey man, what kind of tip do you have on the end of your muffler (50 series delta flow flowmaster right?). Just wondering cuz i'm gonna chop the pacesetter and buy that muffler. I liked the sound on yours.
