i got two brand new mtx 6x9's for my back deck...how can i hook these up

crimp on the connectors that match the plugs. You can get em at any stereo shop, radio shack or any place that sells wiring connectors. Even most hardware stores will have them.

That looks like a stock honda Connector. Is that the MTX in the photo. Because my friend has a 97 honda civic and thats what the connector looked like. I took out the stock 6x9 and cut off the connector ends that plug into that plug in the photo. I know that I have on but im not sure of the other. send me a private message and we can talk.

That's really the best way to go, you'll get the most conductivity, but it doesn't make for easy removal unless you want to just snip the wires, but each time u do that they get a little shorter. It's really just a pro's/con's thing and you'd have to decide which way u want to go.

De-soldering is just as easy with a peice of copper strand

yea, just solder them and get a desolerizer(i make up words depending on what the thig does.)

Easy yes, but not always hand if u don't have a soldering iron near by.

I would take a couple of female connectors and plug them in to the two prongs. I stock honda 6X9 speaker connectors the fit that perfectly. Thats a weird MTX I have only seen the stock honda 6X9s in an 97 civic have that connection
