Well I had the bring idea of mounting my 6x9's in the rear window today after school because I was feeling bored so I had a friend of mine over and we are cutting away and we're doing fine until slip, oh shit. Well now we can't get all four screws down to that it will grip and it looks like total shit on one of them. I was thinking of getting like some 10 inch subs covers or something like that to put over them so you don't see anything. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should put over it or do you think the sub thing will work or have you guys heard about any round like mesh covers or something, like the door ones but round? Thanks. :o .
Bryan.

get some 6x9 boxes and cut the top off and mount them to your rear deck. My buddy did that because the stock holes were for 6" speakers and it works pretty good.

Were that specifically for US models? Or did that include the european accords too? I've never seen that before.

I have 6x9 rear boxes out of a 4th gen accord. I had to use tin snips to enlargen the rear holes. I also had to drill some new holes to mount them.

i was going to tell you about just getting the 6x9 holder thing. its pretty much like the 6 1/2in speaker holder but for the 6x9. i originally had 6 1/2's so i went bigger to 6x9's. i of course got mine from the junkyard. speakers and holder! lucky find. they are jensen. anyway, since your DX didnt have speakers in the back i guess, you would probley make holes for it. im not sure if they had the holes there or not. junkyard is the way to go.
