i've read a few threads on theses having problems, but can't find the one i needed. How does the upper a-arm connect on the front suspension? i raised my car on the lift for the first time and the a-arm bushing is squeaky like mad...i was wondering how exatcly its attached...i guess theres some sort of bearing there...but what is it exactly?

the a arm connects by two bolts that go through the fendewell. You have to open the hood to get to them.
First you got to take the ball joint loose though...

Well, the ball joint is what connects the A-arm to the hub. That is what will need to be fixed if there is a bad squeek in it.

If the end that connects the arm to the fenderwell is squeaking, what you may have to do it take it out by unscrewing the bolts and check to see the condition of the bushing.

If the bushings are still good, you may have to apply some chassis grease to the ends to lubricate it.

Hop that helps.

unbolt the mounting on the rear of your A-arm. there is a long bolt that goes thru and that probably just needs to be greased up a bit. its and easy job, should take a rookie a half hour to do. have to move the black vaccume box to get to the mounting nuts tho.

you'll also need to move the wiper motor over too

isn't the wiper motor on the driver's side?
