I want my accord to be reliable and get good gas mileage. Am I better off removing all the vacuum crap, or getting the weber kit. How does the weber compare mileage wise? Is the keihin a good carb?

The keihn is a good carb only if you rip off the extra vacuum and tune it correctly. I did that and it actually improved the mileage.
The weber kit is going to give you more power and as a drawlback use a lot more gas. So if you want reliability and mileage you might as well stick with what you got.

actually, i have tuned my weber so that it uses more gas under hard acceleration, but at cruising speed, i have noticed a small (1-2 MPG) difference!!!

Man I think I gained more than that when I installed mine. Damn I think it was more like 5 to 6 mpg for me.

It all depends on the jetting and how heavy your foot is.
Also make sure you don't set your idle too high... and try and elliminate vacuum leaks which could hurt response and fool you into thinking your carb needs more gas or isn't getting enough.
