I know its not a 3g but was wondering if anyone had some info on these? I have an oportunity to pick one up for $1500. Has 200,000 miles on it and is all power. I haven't looked at it yet and don't even know if it's a dx,lx,ex or what they even come in. What model would be worth me paying $1500? Has power everything, ac and is auto. Any info would be great before I really consider purchasing this car.

It is either a Lx or a Ex. Good cars, if it runs well and is in decent condition it sounds like a good deal. Personally I would hold back for a 5 speed, but thats just me.
A good site for them is www.cb7tuner.com

Thanks for the info. Which is better out of the LX and EX...the LX right? Sorry if thats a dumb question. I actually need it to be auto cause my wife can't drive a 5 speed. We just need a grocery getter and something bigger than our 2002 Saturn SC2 to cart our kid around in.

EX is better. EX is top of the line.

LX-i became EX starting in 1990. In the U.S that is.

If it has a sunroof and alloy wheels, then I'm pretty sure it's an EX.

Nice find and good luck with it.

The Ex has things like optional leather, rear discs, Antilock Brakes, More power than the others, alloy wheels, etc...

So ALL the EX models came with sun/moon roof? Or was is optional? If its an LX model and in good condtion should I consider $1500 a deal. Basically a lady at work is sellin it and I'm not sure if she knows how much its worth. Is $1500 worth it if its a DX Model? What are the standard options on a dx. I'm doing a search online on the 92 models but am only finding minor history info...not much detail. Thanks for all the into guys!

I suppose $1500 would be fair even if it was a DX, considering mileage and condition.

I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't at least an LX though.

But believe me you'd MUCH rather have the EX.

NO VTEC IN 92 ACCORDS!
Sorry, my friend had a 92 EX. No Vtec in there. It came to the Accords in 94.

Is it true that VTEC didn't come out until '93?

Okay well I buy the car this weekend. I checked it out and it is HELLA clean inside and out. 207,000 miles though :-( but they smogged it and are letting it go for $1500!! Its an lx not an ex but their are no scrathes, dents, dings, burn, tares or stains. They are the original owners and need the money to buy a 2004 Toyota Truck. Has tint and aftermarket cd players sounds pretty good.

Only thing is,... if the cd player is on then you turn off the car then you turn back on the car the cd player is off. You have to manually turn it on everytime you restart the car? What would make it do that? Crossed wire? something easy,...should I worry about it?
