ecu location

sorry for this dumb question .. but where is the ecu located at so i can check for any lights ... also will the light just show if the car is on or what i have to do to check the codes and shit like that... sorry but i need to kno to check on my car.

the ECU is located under the driver seat. If you look at it from the back seat, there will be a little flap to cover the indicator LED.

To get codes, turn the key to the ON position (right before the starter engages) and it will flash if its throwing codes. There is a sticky i believe that tells you how to read the codes and what they mean.
