new or rebuild carb?

I am fixing to do some engine work. I wanna know how much it will be to rebuild my carb or get a new one. i want the cheaper, easier, but better one. better is the top priority. I also wanna get a manual transmission. Should i do this the same time as my carb? give me the dl on the prices and hassles. thanks

Getting a cheap rebuilt carb... is expensive...

Buy the rebuild kit and do it yourself... I believe DOugs how to is still around.
