Well I went out today and looked at an '88 Accord EXi Coupe. It's standard, burgundy interior and exterior, 260,000 km (162,000 mi), runs really well, and is in mint condition in and out except for a small bit of surface rust. The guy wants $1200 CDN (About $950 US). All it needs is an alternator and it's ready for the road. I'm really considering buying this car. What do you guys think?

I called the guy back and told him I'd give him a deposit. So, I'm getting the car! Now I've just got to get rid of my other 3g. I think I'm just going to junk it becasue it's pretty much dead :(. But I must say, it served me well in the 10 months I owned it.

man you found an accord in decent shape in ontario? All the ones ive looked at had some serious rust. I guess thats why mine was only $100

Good luck with it man. Good price too!

I say buy it, strip you old car for all its worth, sell some things but keep most stuff and have fun in a better car.

The only thing that's worth keeping on my old LX is the stereo head unit, floor mats, and the winter tires. Other than that there's nothing else I can think of.

I don't have anywhere to put the car if I were to part it out. If I were to junk it (which a probably will) I would only get about $50 from a junk yard.
