Like piston compression, or cylinder compression. I know some member that have high compression pistons like the ones in 88-89 EFI models have cylinders of up to 180PSI while with the carb and 86-97 EFI models have around 160-170PSI.
(side note this is with good ring seal, the older the engine the more likely the PSI will go down.)

haynes manual qoutes 178psi for efi on mid mileage engine and 149 min on worn out one
carb is little lower 156psi/125psi
mine is 230psi but it's a newish engine only 5k just run in, cr ratio doesn't seem to make much difference as mines quite low as head is newish and i've got deeper valve ckets and the chambers in the head are flowed so theres more room in there! p.s throttle is supposed to be open btw when you do the test!

Diamond forged pistons in one of 3 compresion ratios.
stock 9.2:1
flatop 10.5:1
high compresion mild dome 12.1:1
Plus you can use Eagle Rods to.
You should check out Sean's site, he sells them. www.accordcentral.com
