I was excellerating somewhat fast up to 3-4k and when I went to shift it revved up and another 500rpm and then would get back down to idle. I let it go to idle cause i didnt know wtf it was doing. It doesnt revv up so much now but it kind of hesistates before the rpms will drop.
I had the same problem when something froze up and it revved up much higher and would not come back down but my friends step dad checked something out and that went away, but i didnt drive it after that because my thermostat was also shot and i blew a hose and it was leaking so this is whats left over from that i suppose.
Sorry for the long post but I hope any of my description will help someone atleast give me some ideas on what this is, i know its a little unclear so just ask me any addition info you need. Oh BTW its a 5 speed(obviously) and is carbed.
