ok guys... its coming down the zero hour... im scheduled to pick up a hyundai excel in 3 weeks.. its 3 hours away..

ill need to spend 100 bucks on gas, 250 on teh car and another 1000 bucks to get it ready for its first 14 second pass...

OR...

i can get a no major rust 87 accord hb 5 speed DX for like 350 bucks, throw my lowering suspension, header, exhaust, and weber on it and part the old accord...

its a huge dilemma...

1. spend 1500 bucks to run 14 second quarters and have it ready in 1-2 months
2. get another accord and have it on the road in 3-4 weeks???

now dont go and vote 3G cuz your obsessed.. what would you really do??

Why are you buying an excel, there are much better options for your money. And 14's? :wtf:

the 4G63 140 HP/1**tq bolts in... so a 1800 lb car with that much power runs 14.5's

im sorry... did you say crankwalk? Anyway... Id pick the accord based soley on the fact that hyundais are not know by any means for their quality or durability... honda is, plus you have parts for it and already know how to work on it.

Get the Accord forf cheap. Throw all your goodies on it. Get Sean's turbo and you will never look back at the Hyundai. Power is nothing without control. You can throw a hella suspension with better braking on the Honda than you ever could on the Hyundai.
