Winter tire pressure

Does anyone know what the recommended PSI for our tires are? Pepboys set my tires to 35PSI and it's winter, i thought the tires were supposed to have less air in the winter? I thought 26lb psi winter and 32lb psi in the summer? I could be wrong but this is what i believed to be the correct numbers. I believe i saw it on the owners manual. :werd:

35 PSI for all seasons. Tire dependant though. Air contracts as it gets colder so you will need to put in more in the winter to make up for the lower pressure that results when the air contracts. Check it again when it gets warmer.

well yea and the less tire contact patch in contact with the road gives you better traction in winter and snow... and better gas milage... so 30+ psi = GOOD

In the summer I'm running Kumhos 205/50/15 at 30 PSI on the street and when I wanna go fast I run them at 33-36PSI. In the WINTER I'm running Yokohama Avids (all season tires I can get for cheaper then winters so I just use them) they are 175/70/13 and I run them at 20 PSI unless it snows heavy I run them almost flat at 14PSI. 14PSI on the highway it kinda crazy but the tires hold up ok! Right now they are at 14 PSI. The pressure of the back tires never changes from 20 PSI in winter!

you are gonna fuck up your tires like that hardcore!, ohh well, i have mine at 26 right now is it really supposed to be 36? in the door it says 26 i thought?
