im thinking about making a custom cold air intake for my 87 ex-i.
my first question is will it fit, second, will it be better then a "dry" system or a store bought intake.
and how much hp will the cold air system produce compared to the "dry" system?

It all varies on what the intake material is made of, how it bends, where the filter location is, if your car will respond any different to the extra air...

get a cold air intake from a 94 accord. If you turn your battery around 90 degreez and make the fender hole bigger you can fit it. You might want to take the battery out before the intake. Better room to deal with!! Cold air rules!

also you could go down to an exhaust shop and see if they can bend you a CAI.

Use a 90-93 integra or 94-97 accord CAI. I used the 90-93 intake, and it fit compromisingly. The next time round I'm going to get the 94-97 accord CAI.
