ok, the piston is out and it won't go in. I have pushed it and what all but it won't move. Because it is out I can't put the caliper back on it's bracket loaded with pads. here is my cardomain with some Pics (http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/500796/6) thats the piston out, not in!

Have you tried the C-clamp method. Take an old disc pad flip it over so that braking material is facing the piston and apply the C-clamp to push it back in.
If this doesn't work then you will have toopen the bleeder screw and push it in that way, but then make sure you bleed the air out.
If it still doesn't move back into the caliper then the caliper is defective something is blocking the piston from going back into the caliper,
Hope this helps, LOL

Justin gave me the same advice.... I just need to get a clamp now!

Only like $7-8 at any auto store.
Remember that you "DON'T" need to open the bleed screw if you're using the clamp, the clamp will push the excess fluid back into the resevoir. This way you don't have to bleed the brakes.

I always use a bench clamp to compress the piston, be sure that the bleed valve is removed or it will pop right back out. A ghetto way to do it is to use a hammer and a block of wood.

well, since I had to quit yesterday because it got to dark out, I am doing the passenger side now. And I can't get those screws that hold the rotor to the hub or whatever off. Any suggestions?

Sabz, thanks for the help. A BIGGG philips screw driver does the trick, it just takes alot of effort (and maybe a propane torch and PB Blaster)

Why are you taking the rotor off. Are you having them turned?

I replaced with all new parts. I have no clue how old these things were, and if you look on my cardomain page you see how badly rusted the rotors were. They were only $18 a peice from Autozone.
