I have a few questions.
What keeps up the fuel pressure up on a carb model (85 accord) this is in relation to my other post "Newbie needs help with accord" After the car sits the fuel is going back in the line, i took off the fuel line at carb and tried to start the car and no fuel came out for about a minute of cranking?? then the
fuel comes andthe car will run fine. this only started a couple weeks ago so is the fuel pump what holds the fuel up in the line???

Where is the fuel pump located ? in front of the tank or under the seat?
It sure is rust under there, cannot inagine getting any bolts out ??

sounds like your fuel pump is not working right.
i am not sure about 2gen accord, but on 3 gen accords fuel pump is located inside the tank.

I had a problem with fuel pump a few weeks ago i got a external pump mounted under the car (where the first filters suposed to be) and had a pick up tube made in place of the old pump it works great

try to put a "loop"in your fuel line going to carb. This will trap fuel in the looped and not allow fuel to seep back. Put it as high as you can above carb
