In park my accord idles fine at about 1000rpm, but when i have it in drive and i stop at a stop light, it idles a little lower and the car shakes. Is there a way to fix this!! Also, when i run the a/c in drive the rpm's slip down to about 500 and the car shakes like crazy, is that normal and if not how do i fix it!!! thanks

the problem could come from the Idle air control valve (IAC valve)

This valve is located in front of your intake manifold, has 2 coolant hoses connected to it and a 2 wire connector.

This valve will give you more air when the engine has load on idle (Like power steering, A/C or alternator load)

The valve is supposed to compensate for such things.

I suggest that you adjust your idle when the car is warm

To adjust the idle, unplug the IAC valve (very important) and just turn the flathead screw on top of the Throttlebody

Make sure the car is warm when you do that.
