Nice, Did You Run Into Any Problems Installing It?

not really, just had a problem installing the throttle linkage oh and the vacuums were a killer to take out since they were so old. but other than that it turned out great!

Did you fix your linkage? It looks like you're not going to get WIDE OPEN THROTTLE with the way you have the linkage now.

oh, cool you found my site... well the intake was on a stock carb.
but you can buy a intake adapter for the weber from carbs unlimited... it's a bit pricey though.

OLD THREAD I know.. but is this carb not on backwards? My throttle linkage is on passenger side and barrels are lined up secondary (large in front) I have been reading too many different ways?

Thats how it's supposed to be, especially on a stock unported manifold. The primary is by the firewall and the secondary is by the valve cover.

You might have a different setup on your carb linkage. As long as the secondary is in front it's okay. You can tell which one is the secondary without looking at the barrels, because the secondary isn't connected to the throttle cable directly.

Whew! my carb came off Mazda B2000 truck (conversion) the secondary is closest to valve cover with linkage on passenger side, like original carb. The linkage will be an endeavor, tab extends away from shaft a good 3.5 inches and looks nothing like any pics I have seen on forum. I have a box of golf cart throttle linkage parts, barrels, and brackets , maybe I can create something.
I see you (A20A) have deleted the air pulse whatchamacallit, looks a lot cleaner. Does one just cap off exhaust tube and vaccum source?
Question too, my adapter plates are now stacked up and ported, I had an extra one from the mazda so I got more height. I used permatex hi-tack lightley in between plus gaskets... "one made from alum.foil box-cut out with exacto knife" I was considering using some resin epoxy and tape off the bottom edge of plates and top flange then apply epoxy from the top and let it run down all along all three plates (outside of course)to make them one piece to help with leaks. Only thing I am wondering if the epoxy could stand the heat. I used it too glue in a brass heater nozzle on a crown victoria where the intake was cracked (resin intake) and it has held up well so far.

Looks sweet man! Sounds awesome when the secondary opens too doesn't it?

Epoxy might work but it might crack after a while.
