My parking brake has been stuck for a while and I wondered where it ususally sticks. I have disc brakes on the rear and I'm assuming that the cable is rusted on the cable housing. The brakes are not currently engaged but if I pull the parking brake lever they will not disengage after I release it. Anyone have experience fixing this? :)

i think that's a common issue on our cars if you don't use the hand break on a regular basis.....remove the rear tires and have a look at the hand brake mechanism attached to the calliper there.....i guess it's easyer to understand it than it would be if i described it here...

it's straight forward to fix..took me 20 min on both sides (and a lot of W40 :) )

i would recomend to take the rear disk brakes apart and clean everything and put it back. it is worth.
i wouldn't spray WD40 in there, it has oil and if it gets on the pads you will hard time cleaning them.
