Jegs whips same day on most orders before 2pm.
Take it to any local shop and it can be welded in place for around $50

with my muffler, it wouldnt weld cuz it was chrome, and i never had a leak with clamps, just get them the same size as your pipe

The clamps on my exhaust system have lasted for nearly 2 years with no failures at all... and if it's on the muffler, You shouldn't be seeing the clamps on the front of the muffler unless it gets ripped off

Well, Stock exhaust piping is 1 3/4, but you can get an adaptor at most auto part stores that can go up to 2 1/2.... I have the stock pipes going to a 2 1/4 muffler inlet

Well thats sounds good. I really don't have the time or the money to get new piping but I do want a new muffler. The adapter and weld idea seems the best route for now. Thanks for the replies.

I agree w/ the welding but,if u do it right your muffler will NOT fall off or have leaks.
(1)get the adapters u need I paid about 1.50$ for each one and I needed 3
(2)Get some muffler repair stuff(I used the kind in a tube its easier to work with)About $3
(3)Apply the muffler repair to the adapter and fit it where it needs to go.If u need more than 1 adapter do this at every joint
(4)I used FLEX TUBING I got at pep boys for about $5 to go from the last adapter to the muffler. This will give u the ability to move your muffler around and place it where it needs to go
(5)Finally u need an exhaust mounting bracket which I also got at pep boys for about $3 and use it to keep yuor exhaust supported
This whole job took me about 1 1/2 hrs but I kept going back and forth to the store.U will have to let your car sit overnight. It is easy and cheap but like rendon lxi said...If u can get it welded, get it welded.
