Geez, if one of you has a b20a ECU to do that to, I'll buy it from you! Well, as long as it can control an automatic..

The 3rd Gen is quite rare in breakers yards in the uk and I have seen 1 accord with the b20 scrapped. All the B20 accords in the UK are manual 5 speed trannys and no autos. It just wasnt a option on the 2.0 16v accord:mad: .
If I come accross one I will grab it but I wouldn't hold your breath!! It could take some time.

I'll see what can happen down here too Funstick, I really can't promise anything because these engines are rare now...everyone is running for the B16A's and the H22A's.....I'll look out for you though...I'm heading to the scrap yards this week....I'm trying to build a cold air intake for my carbs.

Um.. Paul, why the ever-loving HELL are you pissed off there's no automatic transmissions? The world would be a better place without them. :D

Most cars in the UK are 5speed manuals (which is what I passed my driving test in).
A few years ago(6-7) I was involved in a car accident where a guy ran into the back of me.:burn:  :burn:
I ended up with a back injury which makes it quite difficult/painfull to use a clutch.:crying: :crying:
So I am having to drive a auto for a while.
When the auto box decides to behave and not flare etc all the time I dont mind them anyway.

Dude I'm sorry. Back injury is good enough reasoning. I'm depressed anyway and I feel bad for giving you shit about it because my best friend just broke her back falling out of a tree.

toastyghost dont feel bad about the auto tranny stuff (some of my mates wind me up about the auto box all the time so its like water off a ducks back)
Sorry to hear about your friend a back injury of any kind is a real pain (no joke intended). It is sometimes down to god and all that you beleive in to repair damaged backs as the doctors sometimes cant seem to do a right lot. Well not in the UK anyway. Hopefully the doctors will be a better in the US as you have private hospitals and not the NHS (national health service) that we have in the UK.
I hope your friend makes a speedy recovery.
are you kidding me our treatment goals here are symptom releife not cures or permanent repairs. by far and large your healthcare is vastly superior to ours.also please keep postr directly tied to this eprom needs i hate checking this post and seeing side talk.
thanx much

seccond that man, back injurys are a major downer. i was like 3 weeks into running crosscountry in highschool and i slipped on a rainy day, i sprained 3 of ,y vertibrae, dont ask me how that works, i dont know. but it sucked, sitting in a chair forever, its fricken annoying to be disabled all because of one stupid moment that ends up screwing up your life for a long time. so yeah, lets us know ow your friend does, speedy recovery and all i hope.
peace
