monroe has a "new"- i think, strut called a monro matic plus. it seems to be an upgraded version of the sensa trac. anyway, does anyone have them or has heard anything about them? you can see them on the monroe website, http://www.monroe.com . thanks for any information.

do you think they are better than the OEM replacements?

for me they are just as good as oem , if u don't want to lower ur car just go with monroe original (cheapest)
i bought them and lowered my car 40 mm (1.5 inch) the shocks bailed after short time ...

I've had Monroe Sensatracs on mine for the last 60K miles. I have been very happy with them. Of course, my suspension is totally stock.

i've got a set of sensatracs ready to go on the next 3gee i have... nearly new, came on my parts car... like everybody else here said, they are basically stock replacements, so don't really think about lowering with them... at least on a 3gee... i've heard that some struts built for different cars hold up better with a drop... but at least in this application, don't expect them to really last when dropped
