where to find a B20A???

I tryed to search but everything is out dated. i was wondering if they know where i can find a B20A????? i heard some shops in canada have them and maybe some sites but i was wondering what options there are. prices, phone numbers, url address, and any other info would be greatly apreciated(sp?).

Yeah last time i spoke to openloop they were on their last B20A which i bought the head, oil pan, and p/s pump from. But i know they have sources and may be able to get more so i would contact them and they are a good place to do business with. If you call ask for Darryl he seems to know more of what they can get or altleast that was my impression i have spoke to all three of them though and are all great people.

Yes, it should pretty much bolt in, except that yours is carb and the B20A is FI. You'll need to decide whether to convert your car to FI or the motor to carb. Putting in a B20A/automatic and converting it to carb would hardly be worth the effort.

what do you guys have against carbs??? carbs can put out as much or more horespower then fi. yeah i agree with you guys on fi but theres nothing wrong with carbs. if the guy wants to put a b20a auto in the car it would but really worth, more touqe horsepower and with a turbo that thing would be awsome for an auto.

I won't get into a carb vs FI debate, but I am specifically refering to the limitations of the stock A20 carb. Putting one on a B20A would substantially reduce it's rated power. I agree a turbo would add a lot of power, but putting a turbo on any carb setup, (much less the stock carb) would be major amount of work.

Sean seemed willing to work with the B20A he has suggested his DIS system on my b20a but he is to far from me and i already had my mind made up on what i wanted.

I've got a 87 Accord LXI A20A3 (Automatic) Is there anywhere i could find a replacement engine that is cheap but will be reliable and powerful for a couple years. Mine has 220,000 miles on it and it seems to be on it's last stand. I would also need a tranny.
