Last night i was looking at my beautiful new hatch and my coupe, and i noticed that the stock OEM wing on my coupe would fit on my hatch. I wonder how that would look?? I need to get some ass shots of both cars and photochop the wing onto my hatch and see how it looks.

Speaking of wings, does anybody know where that thread went about wings on hatchs? I saw a corolla with a wing on it that looked TIGHT. I've tried and tried and tried to find that thread again, but i must not be searching for the right thing.

i think it could go either way. It could look awsome or it could looke hella bad. If you decide to do it, dont go half assin' it. mold it right in and colour match it.

i dont know man, i think those wrap around wings look good. are you talking about a trunk wing from the coupe/sedan? i would be wondering if that would work........wait, that black wing on the white 2 gee looks kinda like an Escort, eeew! 3rd gen better!

i measured the base of the OEM coupe wing and they're narrow enough to fit on the ledge of the hatchback. Its really hard to say if it'll look good or not. AFter thinking about it for a while, im starting to think not.

where the heck is that thread about wings on hatchbacks????

I like wrap around wings on hatches, they don't really look good on anything else.

yes the oem wings will fit a hatch back i got one on mine you just have to lose the rear wiperand arm unless you get a higher sitting wing mine wasnt so i took that off and sealed the hole drilled my holes and bam there you go i think it makes it look alot more sporty with the wing on it it fits the look of the car very well if you didnt know it didnt come with a wing you wouldnt know the diff. i do have pics to prove also if you want to see what it looks like but i will have to ask someone to post it for me

wings shouldnt go on hatches. the only thing that WOULD look good is a really low profile aluminum one that is only like 2" off the back of hte hatch

this is just my 2 cents about this subject but i think putting a aluminum wing on a car with only like 120 hp is ricey and just plain stupid i mean why spend 90 to 100 dollars on a wing when it really doesnt help your car in any way but i am not trying to offend noone just think that is tacky and very distasteful on hatchbacks but to each his own
