View Full Version : Weber Carb - cold idle fine, warm idle too high - help?

Title of thread says most of it . . . I'm using a Weber carb and the choke is connected to a proper power source.
I guess I could get in there & fiddle around with stuff 'till it gets fixed, but, with my lack of experience, there's a great liklihood I'd mess something up more, thus, I'll consider any advice first.

Did you follow the directions that came with the kit on setting the idle speed and mixture? That should take care of it. That info might have made it into the howtos as well. Off hand I don't have the info for you.

. . . okay, they're around here somewhere - great suggestion - thanks . . . also, now that I think about it, I think you can also get help online at webernorthamerica.com . . . or something like that . . .

I think I've got it now . . . purrs quitely when cold . . . same when hot . . .
. . . geeze, I love this car . . .
