I just got my new paint job today, but they didn't prep good enough so there is some overspray.. So I need to know what the hell I can use that'll take the paint off the areas that weren't suppose to be painted?? Any ideas, I need something that'll take the paint off some of the trim and shit. Thanks guys...:sadwave:

I would just get a black magic marker and paint over it :D Also be VERY careful if you try using paint thinner or anything, that will take off your good paint too

if you use paint thinner, water it down HEAVILY. its better for it to be too weak than too strong.

you can also go to your local paint store, they make a product called Clay Magic that is used for accidents like that.

a compound can also be used... does a good job too.

Yeah it was Maaco, sighs....I don't have the kind of money for like a $5000 job, so I said screw it. but overall they didn't do that bad of a job. They managed to paint my chrome tip on my fucking muffler though , they screwed up a few other things, but I mean whaddya want it was a cheapo paint job. I still need to clean it up a lil, what kind f compound are you guys talking about?? I don't think I want to chance paint thinner, so what else is there??? :wtf: But thank you guys for all your help. :super:

A long time ago i painted all the side molding silver. I used nail polish remover and a cotton swab or Q-tip and a towel. Looked like i was tweaking, but it got it all off.

Take it back and have them fix their problem cuz they have an unsatisfied customer. How hard is that?
