well i must admit i am a little intimidated by this project. i have rebuilt this carb already and it ran alot better. but my knowledge of all the extra engine junk is slim. i am very craffty and have faith that i can do it but i was wondering if anyone has recently done this to ther ride and if you maybe have some more close up pics from all sides of the car after the completed job.i have an 87lx im keeping the vaccume secondary the choke too .and i guess noone has figured out how to keep the cruise i have surfed carb tech for as much info as i could and today i went out and got the plugs splitters and vacume line. i know this is so friggin worth it so i gotta suck it up and give it the old heave ho. any pics ( especialy driver side) or tips any one can give will be sieriously appriciated. realy you guys are genuses.

These threads should have some fairly good shots of the carb.

Don't mind the yellow vacuum line with the check valve on it... I was doing some test, but nothing good came of it.

the cruise control is very easy to keep. all you have to do is hook up the vacuum from the cruise control to the intake manifold.

ah that sucks i cut the damn cable to the cruise oh well i guess i can hang on to it and get another cable next trip to the junk yard but what a hassle to reinstall it.any ways i started the project today.i took off all the junk and got most of it done have to wait for gasket sealer to dry in a few spots over night. for the most part its going well.i have a few more questions but if i post em here i dont know how long it will be till someone replys.so im gonna make a new post i think i pretty well surfed all of carbtech and didnt see any thing on this and a few other questions thank you so much for all your help kroy the pics helped a lot.
