does anyone know exactly how much to cut off of the tokico 1'' drop springs in order to lower about 1 and half inches or 2 inchs,

DO i just wack one of the coils off? or what?? i dont wanna fuck them up so help!

this needs to be in the how to?

well to cut it you would need to line it up exactly with where the spring ended before so it fits properly.

alright, wasnt too sure about that.

so if i just cut the coil lined up with the other, (like what u said) would that be about another 1''? or half

I think the best way to cut it is to use a chop saw and cut the "dead" coils at the top of the springs. Using a chop saw will leave the same flat top as uncut springs and you aren't cutting any of the real springs. I'm thinking about doing this to my Pro-kits too.

ok i cut the top coil off, i wonder how much it will lower now??

Are you installing the springs yourself?? You're going to have to since you don't know how much they will lower with each cut coil. I had to take out and install my cut stock springs in the 88 a total of 3 times to get everything balanced the way I wanted it to. Also, make sure you cut a little les then the height you want because they will settle.
